So You Want To Adopt A Ferret

Now what? Do you know what kind of ferret you want to adopt? Do you know the types of ferrets? Are ferrets even legal where you live? Ahh yes, many places they are not legal. Have you fully prepared for your ferret yet before buying a ferret? Do you know where to buy a ferret? What about your ferrets diet? Have you looked into finding out what they eat, where to buy ferret food & make sure they are always well stocked? So many questions... What about a ferret bed? Your ferrets behavior, sleeping habits, ferrets health? Many of these things you may very well already know I'm sure, as you've decided to have one as a pet and family member so my guess is you know the basics or you wouldn't be here but you'd be surprised on the stuff that's maybe left out you haven't thought of yet. Eventually you will know what needs to be and hopefully it isn't the hard way. For both of you, as it wouldn't be fair to your new fuzzy pal to be confused or perhaps worse and fall ill because of lack of information. I see it alot, people contact me in a panic, they or a friend need help and fast! I've done my very best to cover everything to make the transition a safe and happy fun one for all in my free course I offer to anyone who wants it. Please take the time, do a little reading everyday, and you'll be glad you did!

Brief Introduction

Hello there and welcome to my blog for ferret lovers, & lovers of ferret lovers and anyone who's just plain interested in finding out more about ferrets, caring for ferrets or sharing your ferret experiences with the world! I will enable posting here so feel free to share, that's what I'm hoping to have here for everyone so welcome to my new blog! I've basicly decided to make my blog here & my mini course for this new year to perhaps better educate those of you who are ferret hunting, wanting to buy a ferret, adopt a ferret, or recently have and need a little help to make this experience a good one. All too often I see people who have taken these furry little critters on as a family pet not knowing how to truly prepare for taking your new pet home. Ask any ferret owner and they will tell you... things will be far more enjoyable for the both of you- and safer for your precious pet if you are best informed. A little knowledge will go a LONG, long way. I will post links to my favourite forums and groups for all of you in the event that you might need to access them sometime, or just chat with fellow ferret owners. Again, welcome and thanks for visiting I hope you find something here that will help you & perhaps your new ferret along the way.
